Bulldog Named Employee of the Month in Heartwarming Gesture

While dogs can’t talk like people, they have their ways of communicating their needs. A recent example of this comes from the story of Reuben the Bulldog and his owner.

One day, as his owner relaxed with a magazine on a recliner, Reuben stood before him, intently trying to catch his attention.

Despite his best efforts, the owner initially misunderstood Reuben’s signals, asking if he wanted to sit on the chair or if it was time for his food. Reuben, however, remained steadfast and unresponsive to these guesses.

The owner then mentioned he wouldn’t be taking Reuben for a car ride, prompting the Bulldog to jump onto his lap excitedly.

Although the owner was beginning to understand Reuben’s desires, he wasn’t ready to fulfill them immediately.

Eventually, Reuben’s persistent and endearing expressions led his owner to give in. The owner praised Reuben for his patience and creativity, humorously naming him “Employee of the Month” for April at “Reuben the Bulldog Industries.”

Not content with just the title, Reuben had one more request. Sensing his pet’s continued dissatisfaction, the owner presented a poster declaring Reuben as “April – Employee of the Month” and shook hands with him in celebration.
