Grumpy Malamute Reacts Hilariously to New Human in the House (VIDEO)

A senior Malamute named Phil has captured hearts online with a video showcasing his amusing reaction to a new visitor in his home.

In the video, Phil, sitting comfortably with his owner on the couch, begins growling at Teddy, the visitor, while reluctantly accepting head scratches from him. The scene highlights Phil’s feelings about sharing his owner’s affection with someone new.

Despite attempts by his owner to encourage Phil to relax and accept Teddy’s presence, Phil remains adamant, even affectionately placing his paw on his owner’s lap several times while growling at Teddy.

Nico, another Malamute in the household, also disapproves of Phil’s behavior towards Teddy but eventually decides to find her own space elsewhere.

Unfazed by Phil’s grumbles, Teddy peacefully settles behind him on the couch. After several minutes of standoff, Phil finally eases up upon Nico’s return, prompted by the owner’s wife.

With Nico settling between her owners, Phil’s demeanor softens as he enjoys his owner’s soothing gestures, finally letting go of his initial grumpiness.
