Lexi, a rescue dog, lives with her owner, Matt, in Kentucky. Known for her intelligence and remarkable agility, Lexi has turned their backyard into her playground.

Whenever Lexi is outside, she behaves as if she’s at a skatepark. She grabs Matt’s attention and then dashes from door to door, eagerly jumping up and down.

Once outside, she follows a specific route she’s mapped out: running around the bush, circling the tree, and leaping to the top of the fence before descending and moving to the next section.

Lexi has played a vital role in their yard: keeping squirrels at bay. Whenever she spots one, she chases it until it scurries up a tree. Matt has trained her to observe and deter the squirrels without causing them harm.

Matt’s other dog, Max, has a different temperament. As Lexi’s sibling, Max serves as her eyes and ears.

When Max starts barking, Lexi leaps onto the fence, curious about any noise or movement. Neighbors often see Lexi perched on the fence and wave to her, while passersby sometimes imagine she’s a towering eight-foot dog.

Once a shy stray, Lexi has adjusted well to her new family and loves to cuddle with Matt. Her athleticism has grown, with her jumps evolving into impressive acrobatics.

Matt believes she could become a world-class jumping dog. His life revolves around his dogs, who return his affection in spades.
