Duncan: The Delightfully Quirky Dog Who Brings Joy and Laughter

Duncan, previously known as Peanut Butter, is a shelter dog who has won over the heart of his new owner, Greta.

Adopted to help heal her after the loss of her previous dog, Duncan’s charming personality and innocent eyes made him an irresistible choice.

Before finding his new home, Duncan had been a stray and had spent time with animal control in the Northern suburbs of Chicago.

Rumor had it that his previous owner was not very kind, but Duncan’s playful and affectionate nature shone through despite his past.

Duncan’s quirks are endearing. During walks in the rain or snow, he would excitedly catch raindrops or snowflakes as if they were treats.

His playful antics, including lunging and biting at the snow, always made Greta smile. However, he did get a bit grumpy during snowy weather, growling and barking at it.

The dog has some unusual habits with water. While eagerly drinking from a fountain, he avoids swimming and hates bathtubs.

Duncan also has a peculiar relationship with his tail, which he constantly chases as if it were his arch-nemesis.

Although Duncan enjoys human company, he is not as comfortable around other dogs. The family’s move to a suburban area with ongoing construction introduced him to various workers, whom he greeted cheerfully every morning.

Duncan’s best friend is Greta’s cat, Coco Bubbles. Despite his wariness with other dogs, Duncan and Coco Bubbles share a deep bond. The two are inseparable, snuggling, playing gently, and respecting each other’s space.
