Through his online posts, Mike has highlighted the ups and downs of life with this lovable pet, giving a humorous take on why owning a Bulldog might be more challenging than expected.

One memorable moment occurred when Mike came home from work to find Reuben unconventionally greeting him—sitting on his owner’s shoes and dirtying them. This playful gesture meant Mike had to clean his shoes before settling in.

Mike noted that this behavior seemed to be a regular occurrence, despite his attempts to discourage it. Reuben, however, remained unfazed and continued with his antics.

In another instance, Mike returned to a messy house, knowing that tidying up would be nearly impossible with Reuben. But the sight of his excited Bulldog running to greet him made him forget about the mess entirely.

Reuben had a knack for interrupting Mike’s moments of peace. Whether Mike was enjoying a quiet bath or trying to exercise, Reuben would find a way to intrude, often by chewing on anything in sight or climbing onto Mike’s shoulders.

Reuben’s impeccable sense of timing meant Mike never needed an alarm clock. The Bulldog’s consistent barking ensured Mike woke up right on schedule.

During the holiday season, Reuben’s antics continued. He was found resting by the Christmas tree with a disgruntled expression.

To keep him from disturbing the decorations, the tree was cut off from the bottom—a measure taken to protect it from Reuben’s playful curiosity.

One of the funniest moments involved Reuben sneezing and farting simultaneously, then adopting a serious expression that left Mike in stitches.

Despite the occasional mess and interruption, Mike describes Reuben as a wonderful companion who keeps life entertaining.
