125-Pound Dog Helps Baby Take First Steps
Drax, a Cane Corso, joined his family when he was just 8 weeks old, coinciding with his mother’s pregnancy.
As his mother’s belly grew, Drax became her constant companion, gently resting on her lap and stomach.

Drax kept a watchful eye on the new addition from a distance when she gave birth to a baby boy, while his mother focused on early socialization for her son.
From the start, Drax was fascinated by the baby. His favorite pastime became observing the baby’s every move.

As the parents began teaching their son how to roll over, Drax demonstrated the action himself, showing the baby how it was done.
Drax stayed close by as the baby played in his jumper, and the two quickly became inseparable. By the time the baby turned one, Drax had reached his full size.
Motivated by his desire to keep up with his furry friend, the baby began walking earlier than expected.

Despite his large size, Drax saw himself as a small lapdog. The baby received a ball pit for his birthday, which became a favorite play area for him and Drax.
The baby would fill Drax’s mouth with plastic balls, some of which would be destroyed.
The family enjoyed frequent trips to the park, where Drax relished the opportunity to slide and run through tunnels, viewing the park as his playground.

Drax was thrilled to meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus during the baby’s first Christmas, showing more excitement for Santa than the baby did.
Drax transformed his mother’s view on dogs, leading her to see the valuable lessons they can teach children.
The bond between Drax and the baby grew strong, and they became best friends, growing up together and sharing countless adventures.
