Woman Fosters Pregnant Dog Who Delivers Nine Adorable Puppies

Kathy has long been dedicated to fostering rescue dogs from her local shelter. Recently, she received a special request to foster a pregnant dog. Kathy reluctantly agreed and went to the shelter to pick up her new foster dog, Cookie.

Kathy prepared a designated birthing area, but Cookie preferred to stay on the couch, which she had chosen as her birthing spot.

Throughout the labor, Cookie looked to Kathy and her family for reassurance. The family stayed close by, providing support as Cookie delivered nine healthy puppies. Considering her small size, Kathy was amazed by Cookie’s ability to give birth to so many pups.

The initial days and weeks were challenging for Cookie, but she displayed remarkable dedication to her puppies.

She consistently cleaned, fed, and cared for them with great attentiveness. Cookie’s nurturing nature ensured her puppies felt secure and loved.

At eight weeks old, all the puppies were adopted into new homes. Cookie was also adopted by Kathy’s friends, allowing Kathy to stay in touch and occasionally visit her beloved foster dog.
