It’s Never Too Late to Rescue a Dog

Ziggy’s journey wasn’t always filled with joy. When he was rescued, he was in terrible shape due to years of neglect. His fur had bald patches, and his health was deteriorating.

A veterinary examination revealed that Ziggy suffered from hyperthyroidism, a condition that caused weight loss, hyperactivity, increased blood pressure, and heart rate despite his excellent appetite.

With the proper medication, which Ziggy must take for the rest of his life, his condition improved dramatically. His fur grew back, and his mood lifted.

He was already ten when Isabelle, his adoptive mom, took Ziggy in. Adopting an older dog is often seen as risky, but Isabelle showed that it can be gratifying. She gave Ziggy a second chance at life, proving that senior dogs can thrive with love and care.

Ziggy’s Transformation and Rise to Instagram Fame

When Isabelle first rescued Ziggy, he was severely malnourished, with a rat tail, bald spots, and no hair on his ears.
