Smart Rescue Dog Loves Playing Hide-and-Seek with Her Owner (VIDEO)
One day, Dutch Richard received a call from his friend Ava, who mentioned that some puppies were in need of homes.
Among them was Lola, a puppy who immediately caught Dutch’s eye. Lola and her siblings were in a yard with a sign that read, “Puppies, looking for a good home.”

Dutch decided to adopt Lola, who turned out to be a mix of Siberian Husky, Belgian Malinois, Chihuahua, and Lhasa Apso.
Dutch could tell that Lola was exceptionally smart from the start, especially when she taught herself to play hide-and-seek.
During their games, Lola would cleverly hide under a chair, making it nearly impossible for Dutch to find her. Dutch was amazed—he had never seen a dog do something like that before.
But Lola’s intelligence didn’t stop there; she also learned how to communicate with him using talking buttons that allowed her to express herself with a few simple words.
Whenever Lola wanted a treat, to play, go for a walk, answer with a yes or no, or play hide-and-seek, she would press the corresponding button. However, there was one button Lola wasn’t too fond of—the one for “bath.”
She would always avoid it, making it clear that bath time was her least favorite activity. On the other hand, her favorite button was “treat.”
Once, when the “treat” button stopped working for a week, Lola became visibly frustrated. She threw a fit, acting like an upset toddler, because she couldn’t get her favorite button to work.
Despite her playful antics, Lola remains close with her sister Cleo, and the two enjoy regular playdates.
Dutch believes his bond with Lola is incredibly strong, especially after spending so much time together during the pandemic. Lola has brought a great deal of joy into his life.
