Jenna compares Woofy to a DMV worker, who always looks grumpy while sitting at work. Woofy enjoys lounging on the couch like a human and prefers the company of a select few.

Generally, Woofy is a quiet dog who doesn’t interact much with others. She came into Jenna’s life after Jenna’s sister found an online post seeking a new home for Woofy.

Jenna had always wanted a service dog to help with her lifelong anxiety, and Woofy has provided the comfort she needed.

Unexpectedly, Jenna discovered that Woofy needed her just as much. Nervous around new people, Woofy prefers to stay close to Jenna.

Leaving Woofy with others is challenging for Jenna because Woofy dislikes staying with strangers. Jenna leaves clothes with her scent for Woofy when they are apart to ease her anxiety.

Jenna acknowledges that she and Woofy need each other equally. They have saved each other, and Jenna is grateful for the joy Woofy brings whenever she comes home.
