Baby Amelia Falls Asleep Only When Her Dogs Are by Her Side

Putting young children to sleep can be a challenging task for any parent. Many turn to various methods to help their little ones drift off.

One mother discovered that the key to getting her baby girl, Amelia, to sleep was bringing the family dogs into the room. With the dogs by her side, Amelia finally settled down.

However, reaching this solution wasn’t straightforward. The first attempt was unsuccessful, with Amelia climbing onto her parents’ bed instead of staying in her crib.

Amelia got into her crib on the second try, but she quickly climbed out, much to her mother’s surprise. “How did you figure out how to do that?” her mom asked, receiving only a mischievous smile.

Attempts three and four also didn’t go as planned. Inspired by Amelia’s escape, one of the family’s Huskies tried to jump into the crib but found it too high.

After a few more tries, Amelia agreed to sleep on the condition that her mother and the two dogs stayed with her.

Though unconventional, this method worked, and the dogs seemed happy to lie down in the room as Amelia peacefully fell asleep.
