Goose Walks on Dog Brother’s Head to Wake Him Up, Honking in Triumph (VIDEO)
When Rillette the goose was first brought home, she cried endlessly. She had been rescued from a nearby goose farm at just two weeks old, and her future with Nino, the family’s bull terrier, was uncertain.
However, any concerns were quickly put to rest when Rillette started following Nino, and he, in turn, embraced his new role as her big brother.
Watch the video at the end.
From the start, Nino showed a surprising tenderness, always staying by Rillette’s side to ensure her safety.
Their bond grew stronger each day, with Rillette quickly settling into her new home. Her owner even built a cozy wooden enclosure in the yard, where Nino often kept her company.
Rillette’s soft honking, almost like a conversation, would prompt Nino to wag his tail. Their connection was undeniable, and Rillette became someone truly special to Nino.
Nino and Rillette matured as time passed, but their close friendship never wavered. Nino eagerly wakes up his owner each morning, excited to reunite with Rillette. When her house door is opened, the pair joyfully chases each other around the yard, playing for hours.
Eventually, Nino tires out and naps, but Rillette isn’t finished with her playful antics. She often walks right over him, determined to wake him up, much to her amusement.
Her teasing doesn’t stop there—she gives Nino gentle pinches, which her owner calls “pinch kisses,” and Nino adores the attention.
Their owner is thrilled by the blossoming friendship between the two. Nino and Rillette have become inseparable, offering each other companionship and support, showing that their bond goes far beyond species differences.
