Senior Dog Sox Rides in Style with His Own Motorcycle Sidecar (VIDEO)
Sox, a loyal husky, deeply loves motorcycles and enjoys riding with his owner, Michael Fiala. Whenever Sox is eager for a ride, he runs straight to the bike and jumps on, patiently waiting for Michael’s signal to join him.
When Michael gives him the green light, Sox is overjoyed to take off. Equipped with his goggles and helmet, Sox sits comfortably in the back seat as they head out together.

This special bond between Sox and Michael began about a decade ago when they first started riding together.
When Michael embarked on a cross-country trip covering the continental U.S. and Alaska, it was only natural that Sox would come along for the adventure.
Over the years, they’ve become inseparable, and Michael knows Sox inside and out, always looking out for his well-being.
Michael noticed a small lump on Sox’s neck during one of their trips. Concerned, he consulted a veterinarian, who advised monitoring it.
Eventually, Sox underwent surgery to remove six tumors, and it was discovered that he had two types of cancer.
The diagnosis was heartbreaking for Michael, as Sox had always been his energetic, adventurous companion. Despite the illness, Sox’s resilient spirit shone through, and he recovered quickly.
The pair explored 43 states, 43 national parks, and over 100 forests. However, as Sox aged, the long rides became more challenging for him.
Michael and his father built a special trailer for Sox to ride in to make the trips more comfortable. This customized sidecar allows Sox to rest during their travels while still being part of the journey.
Although the sidecar is designed for Sox’s comfort, Michael believes his beloved dog still enjoys sitting behind him on the bike, feeling the wind, and taking in the scenery, just like in the old days. Their bond, built over years of adventures, fuels their passion for the open road.
