Chris and Mariesa’s journey into senior dog rescue began with Moses, an elderly dog with just weeks left to live. Little did they know that adopting Moses would ignite a mission to save hundreds of senior dogs.

Animal shelters often see younger, healthier dogs being adopted quickly while older dogs are left behind, spending their final years in cramped conditions. This was the reality Moses faced until he met Chris and Mariesa.

Despite his declining health, with a spine tumor and other issues, the couple provided Moses with a loving environment during his remaining time.

After Moses passed away, Chris and Mariesa committed to giving the same care and compassion to other senior dogs.

Their dedication has led them to rescue and care for over 500 elderly dogs, offering them comfort and dignity in their later years.
