With no cape in sight, Harley proved that heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes, they’re covered in fur and wagging tails.

Owned by Ralph Dorn, the six-year-old canine, Harley showcased remarkable intuition and intelligence when he acted to rescue a baby fawn in distress. Ralph noticed Harley paddling alongside an unknown animal about 200 feet from shore in a lake.

Upon closer inspection, it became clear that Harley wasn’t just enjoying a leisurely swim – he was on a mission to save a life.

Driven by Instinct: Harley’s Rescue Mission Described as a “good boy” by his owner, Harley demonstrated his extraordinary instincts by immediately responding to the plight of the baby fawn.

Harley swam towards the struggling fawn with no hesitation, desperately trying to stay afloat in the water.

Ralph recounted, “Every time the fawn tried to turn away, Harley would herd it back towards the shoreline, and they kept getting closer and closer.”
