Heartwarming Rescue: Nursing Dog Mom Leads Rescuer to Her Stranded Puppies

Ashley Boggs, a dedicated dog rescuer, had her mission affirmed when she encountered a heart-wrenching scene on a remote forest road in Puerto Rico.

Amidst the bustling traffic, a distressed brown canine caught her attention, frantically seeking assistance.

Stepping out of her vehicle, Ashley discovered that the desperate dog was a nursing mother urgently seeking help for her vulnerable newborns.

Abandoned in the wilderness without sustenance, this courageous mom was single-handedly safeguarding her litter.

Fortunately, Ashley, affiliated with Miracles for Satos Rescue in New York, arrived in time to be their rescuer.

Alongside the mother, later named Goji, two additional pups were discovered in the secluded vicinity.

All three dogs were safely and efficiently secured in Ashley’s car. Yet, the plaintive cries of more puppies echoed from the surrounding woods, compelling Ashley to venture back and investigate further.

After a relentless search, Ashley located four more puppies near the spot where they were abandoned.

Determinedly, she ensured the safety of all seven pups, transporting them to the facility where they would receive the care they desperately needed.

Under the compassionate care of the Miracles for Satos Rescue team, the stray family received nourishment and a fresh start.

Fostered in a nurturing environment, they began socializing and learning essential puppy behaviors.

Goji, the devoted mother, effortlessly adapted to her new surroundings, exuding affection towards all she encountered. Described as the epitome of sweetness, Goji’s endearing nature endeared her to all who met her.

Following their rescue, the puppies, named Raspberry, Blueberry, Gooseberry, Cloudberry, Blackberry, and Strawberry, embarked on a journey to find their forever homes. Formerly forsaken, these adorable furballs now revel in the love and security of their new families.
