Brave Dog Ozzie Inspires Family Through Cancer Battle (VIDEO)
Ozzie began life like any other energetic pup, enjoying hikes, beach outings, and playful days filled with zoomies.
However, his life took a challenging turn when he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma after a vet visit in September revealed a tumor in his front leg.

Facing a tough decision, Ozzie’s family opted for the treatment offering the longest life expectancy: amputation of his leg followed by chemotherapy.
Despite the prognosis of nine to twelve months, Ozzie showed resilience and high spirits post-surgery, even stealing someone’s peanut butter toast at the vet!
Throughout five rounds of chemotherapy, Ozzie had his ups and downs, feeling tired on treatment days but bouncing back the next, eager to hike and play.
His love for hiking persisted, though he tired quickly with only three legs. Friends gifted Ozzie’s mom a carrier to support him so he could still enjoy woodland hikes.
In 2016, when Ozzie’s grandpa was diagnosed with cancer, their shared experiences with chemotherapy brought them closer together.
Ozzie continues to live life to the fullest, a testament to his courageous parents’ decisions and unwavering love.
