Brave Boy Leaves His Dog Outside Shelter to Save Him from Abuse – The Heartbreaking Story Behind It

A Difficult Decision
Andres and his mother decided to leave Rene at a local animal shelter. They placed the dog in a cardboard box and left him at the front door, along with a note explaining the heartbreaking reason for their actions.
A Shocking Revelation
At first, shelter workers were surprised to find Rene abandoned in a box. But when they read the note, everything became clear.
The message said: “My mom and I decided to leave my dog in your hands, hiding it from my dad because he is thinking about selling him. But he mistreats and kicks him. One day, he kicked him so hard that he hurt his tail.
I hope you can help and take care of him.” The note revealed that Andres’ father had been abusive toward Rene, and the boy wanted to protect his dog from further harm.
Andres left a small teddy bear, Rene’s favorite toy, alongside the note. It was his way of saying goodbye to his furry friend, hoping the shelter would give Rene a better life.
A New Beginning for Rene
The shelter immediately took Rene in and began assessing his condition. It turned out that his tail was injured due to the abuse he had suffered.
Despite the trauma, Rene proved to be a sweet and loving dog, getting along well with the other animals in the shelter.
Thanks to Andres’ brave action, Rene is now recovering and showing signs of improvement. He’s playful and loves to be around people, especially adults and other big dogs.
