Meet Peggy, a dog left alone on the side of the road for nearly three days after being abandoned by the family she loved and trusted.

Dumped in a remote area with little hope of survival, Peggy spent her time crying and watching each passing car, yearning for someone to come back and take her home.

Fortunately, Monica Popovici, a devoted dog lover and owner of a local dog shelter, noticed Peggy’s distress.

“I heard her crying, and my heart broke. I loved her from the first moment I met her. I assured her that I loved her and would never leave her alone again,” Monica shared.

With Peggy trusting her instantly, Monica took her to the vet, overwhelmed with joy to bring her into her family.

Now safe and sound, Peggy is recovering well and is set to be picked up the following day. Monica has been showering affectionately, and Peggy is already enjoying the company of other dogs at the shelter.
