Playing fetch with your dog is a classic activity, but have you ever tried pretending to throw the ball without actually letting it go?

Jasmine Milton, the owner of a Siberian husky named Anuko, did just that—and Anuko’s reaction was priceless.

Milton, a psychology student from Aylesbury, captured the exact moment her dog realized he was tricked, and the resulting photos are both adorable and hilarious.

Her post quickly gained traction on Twitter, turning her into a viral sensation. Despite his stern expression, Milton describes Anuko as a constant source of joy in her life.

In an interview with Woman’s Day, Milton shared how Anuko has helped her through difficult times. “I got Anuko shortly after I was treated for depression, and ever since, he’s lifted my spirits,” she explained.

“He had forced me to go out when I only wanted to stay in bed. He has made me laugh when no one else could, and now he’s making the rest of the world laugh. He’s my hero and more than just a pretty face!”

Anuko, who is just over a year old, has perfected the “stern look,” which he’s been giving since he was a puppy.
