Having waited six long months for his owner, the dog and cat were now safe, much to the relief of the community who had come to care for them.

After a health check confirmed they were both in good shape, hopes were high that they could be adopted together.

However, despite the residents’ wishes, the pair could not be homed together. Fortunately, both animals found loving families, and their new owners arranged for them to see each other regularly.
